Founded in 1925 by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome, the Maison quickly rose to international fame with its specialized bag and fur workshop. Karl Lagerfeld joined in 1965, starting a creative era lasting over five decades. In 1992, Silvia Venturini Fendi, the third generation, joined, and in 2000, Fendi became part of the LVMH Group. In 2020, Kim Jones became Artistic Director for Couture and Womenswear, working alongside Silvia and Delfina Delettrez Fendi, the third and fourth generations of the Fendi family.
