“Damien Hirst manages to raise our consciousness from within this sanitized world to further examine our place within the world. This collaboration paves the way for a world where art can serve as a vehicle to understand Nature, and all that has moved beyond us.” With these words Prince Louis Albert de Broglie, Owner and President of Deyrolle, welcomed Britain’s art scene’s enfant terrible to thegreat lineage of artists who have worked with and have been inspired by Deyrolle since its founding in 1831. So, after Salvador Dalí and Huang Yong Ping it’s Damien Hirst‘s turn to be a part of natural history with’Signification (Hope, Immortality and Death in Paris, Now and Then)’ (2014). Hirst’s contemporary cabinet of curiosities will be on display in the Deyrolle emporium at 46 Rue du Bac on Paris’s Left Bank from September 23rd to October 28th and bidding will be available online at Paddle8from October 14 through October 28.
