Malone Souliers is perfection instilled

Malone, a talented dressage rider, was selected for the Junior Olympic Equestrian Team at an early age. However, her restless desire for artisan design soon germinated to an enrolment in art school in Colorado.

Engaging in the varying processes of furniture-making, welding, carpentry and upholstery, Mary Alice found her skill in her hands, settled into her new and lifelong vocation as a ‘Maker.’ Read more

The night is high

The night is high

It is confirmed that high heels are sexy. In 2014, a new study in the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior proved that men really do find women in high heels significantly sexier.

“Study author Nicholas Gueguen in the department of social behavior at the University of Bretagne conducted three experiments using French women identically dressed in black suits with straight skirts and white shirts. Most were also all brunettes: because previous studies showed that men were more likely to approach blonde women over brunettes and ask them out on dates. The only differences between the women were their shoes” reports TIME.

Your Valentine is deep red

What’s love without a big hit of colour splashing through our winter days?

Just before transitioning from chilly to warmer temps St. Valentine’s day is a great excuse to come forward with a bold and fiery hue. “Red is a mood elevator,” says Leatrice Eiseman, Pantone’s executive director. “It can boost confidence and make you feel more in control.”
Bold and beautiful, the all-time-classic colour is not for the light-hearted.Red, a very sharp-edged colour is ideal for those strong statements that love is. As for how to wear red “go with bluer reds if your complexion is fair; spicier orange-reds will flatter darker skin. Whatever you choose, keep hair sleek and lips neutral (red lips would be too matchy), and step out in black or nude shoes that won’t distract. Resist the urge to stop at just a pop–a long line of color is often visually slimming (not to mention stunning)” says InStyle.
Red accessories on the other hand are more easier to carry around. Invest in the deep red hue and fall in love with fierce fashion all over again.

Bring some Spring forward. The nu pastels have arrived

Bring some Spring forward. The nu pastels have arrived

Back in 2014 every lady became a nude-ist. Thanks to Kate Middleton’s skin-tone heels and numerous other celebrities of out times the trend took fashion by storm and it never ceased.

A couple of seasons later another colour became popular for it’s powder like elegance. Pink, the pastel version of this ultra feminine colour became the accessory de rigeur. The smooth charm of this palette will brighten up any look, as this is not another pastel for the season. Blush pink, just like nude, is a trend all on its own bringing a soft warmth that literally glows in private mode.

These elegant accessories do have a streetwise sense if you pair them with oversized coats over sexy skinnies but they do match Gucci’s vintage trend that took the season by storm. Also, going grey will do no harm as these pastels are as old as nu. Leather card holder by Céline. – Available at Luisa World Kolonaki, Luisa World Kifissia.
