After his more dark inspirations, including the rock scene of the Sunset Strip to the festival babes of the Canyons, Slimane has opted for something more sunnier for SS16. His collection of menswear inspired by the surf scene of midcentury California is called “A Tribute to Contemporary Californian Surf Music Culture,” so he hasn’t abandoned the music scene entirely and palm prints are just one more reason to celebrate the joie de vivre of surf living.
