As everyone knows in the magazine world, the beginning of August signifies the biggest cover reveal of the year: the September issue. Harper’s Bazaar took a surprising take featuring The Weeknd and a series of A-list ladies and models for it’s latest Icons issue.

Alongside top models Adriana Lima and Irina Shayk the singer covers the magazine’s special Icons issue, which also features the likes of Miranda Lambert, Courtney Love, Karlie Kloss, Natasha Poly and Joan Smalls. In the accompanying editorial, the singer who wears Saint Laurent models alongside Candice Swanepoel and reveals his fashion inspirations.

“The Met Gala wrapped up on Monday, but we’re still thinking about fashion’s biggest night of the year” says Vogue of the event that conquered the headlines thanks to Anna Wintour’s on-going struggle to fuse fashion with art.

Thankfully for those who want to live the event in all it’s star-studded glory there is a slice of glossy IQ in Vogue’s exclusive video interviews from inside the event with Vogue Contributing Editor André Leon Talley.

“It has become tradition that before the evening’s guests make their way up the stairs of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, they first have to stop and chat with our intrepid reporter, who, for the record, has been a Met Ball regular since 1974” therefore enter the void of celebrity and fashion with Talley’s questions.
