As everyone knows in the magazine world, the beginning of August signifies the biggest cover reveal of the year: the September issue. Harper’s Bazaar took a surprising take featuring The Weeknd and a series of A-list ladies and models for it’s latest Icons issue.

Alongside top models Adriana Lima and Irina Shayk the singer covers the magazine’s special Icons issue, which also features the likes of Miranda Lambert, Courtney Love, Karlie Kloss, Natasha Poly and Joan Smalls. In the accompanying editorial, the singer who wears Saint Laurent models alongside Candice Swanepoel and reveals his fashion inspirations.

The Spring/Summer 2017 campaign also celebrates Bottega Veneta’s 50th anniversary. Creative director Tomas Maier told the Telegraph Hutton’s casting was a nod to the “essence” of the brand – an echo of his September 2016 statement.

Balmain continues its collaboration with fashion photographer Steven Klein, following its spring-summer 2016 campaign. For the latest collaboration Kanye West is the star of Balmain’s new campaign alongside his wife Kim Kardashian and Olivier Rousteing’s favourite models du jour. The campaign, which is shot by legendary fashion photographer Steven Klein, is about a “music fashion fusion,” according to the creative director behind the images Pascal Dangin. West wears Balmain with great frequency and in turn the designer has called him a “God.” Read more

All for one and one for all. When Riccardo Tisci unveiled the Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott-shot visuals for his SS16 collection for Givenchy everyone gasped. Featuring an all-star cast of 27 models the campaign reflects the theme of the Marina Abramoviç-directed New York Fashion Week show – that of love.

For the ninth year in a row the Brazilian amazon leads the pack of the year’s most valuable models. According to Forbes magazine which released its annual list of the 21 highest-earning models in the world Gisele Bundchen tops the list for the ninth year in a row, with earnings of $44 million.
