Celebrating the chaotic brilliance of Franca Sozzani

During the weekend fashion’s biggest names gathered for a tribute film to Vogue Italia’s long-serving Editor in Chief at the Venice Film Festival. The docu-film Franca: Chaos and Creation held its premiere at the 73rd Venice Film Festival and it was a family matter. Directed by Francesco Carrozzini, the film takes an intimate look into the life of his mother, Vogue Italia’s legendary Editor-in-Chief Franca Sozzani. Behind the lens, the film shows Sozzani’s work as well as her wide-reaching fashion influence during her almost three-decade tenure as head of the publication.
