The birthday hater/ Brigitte Bardot turned 80

Fashion world was always obsessed with Brigitte Bardot, the way art is, even today. It was just a couple of years ago when the 1974 dark-red silkscreen Andy Warhol’s portrait of her (pictured above), based on a 1959 photo by Richard Avedon, was sold for the heirs of Gunter Sachs for $4.7 million at Sotheby’s, London. And it was the woman’s that God created 80th birthday last Sunday but although she used to be sexiness incarnated, there is something about her that needs discussion. Read more
